This time, Dongguan’s “Houjie Time”, formerly known as the No. 1 Factory in Liaoxia, teamed up with CT.LAB to use digital art techniques to elevate the space and create a new landmark in the city. With history and humanity, the project breaks through the traditional commercial pattern and creates a home for the mainstream contemporary consumer groups.

CT.LAB used digital technology to create a "time journey" digital sand table image for Houjie Time. Different from traditional digital sand table, the team pursues a balance between technology and art, focusing on the expression of stories. The sand table restores the shape of Houjie, presents stories that connects the past, present and future of the local area. The industrial spirit of the past, the modern development plan, and the imagination of the future are all vivid in our minds. The image resonates with people of different periods and generations.
