"Six thousand bodies" is an AI interactive art installation presented in the inaugural exhibition ‘Blue Ribbon: Exploring the Mysterious Sea, Encountering the Treasures of the Silk Road’ at the Poly MGM Museum at MACAU. The work was created by CT.LAB, together with artists Wang Ning and Jin Jinghua, the installation is a novel technological experience that gives a different presentation to Mazu, the god of maritime transportation.
From conceptual design to presentation, the creative team spent 120 days thinking and precipitation to create a “Mazu Temple” with a very humanistic flavor and rich technological attributes. While you stand in front of the artwork, you can feel the magical power of the waves. The sound of the waves and the deep dynamic particles seem to pull people to think in a certain direction.
The art installation attaches great importance to the interaction with the audience, from the aesthetics of the interface to the user friendly through layers of analysis and deconstruction, and finally realized the communication with the audience in the form of photographs. The artwork uses AIGC technology to present people evolving into the image of “Mazu”, which is very vivid. The artist hopes to express that at the advent of every life moment, our thoughts will be cohesive and dispersed, and through the continuous washing of the long river of history, they will eventually become eternal.
